Here Are Some Resources To Make You Sharper

Hi!

Yesterday I've shared my first sales book when I joined my first Pharma company 10 years ago. And today, I take you to another great reference...so great that even 'specialist' recommend it.

Here's the story...

After covering HUSM for quite some time, I met an Anaesthetist but he was from General Hospital, Kota Bharu. He happened to be in HUSM for some courses. We've talked before but that day, the topic was a bit different.

He talked about sales and marketing, and creating network (I sort of know where he's heading)...

We ended our conversation with him inviting me to see few other friends later that evening, and guess what...what I suspected came true. I'm meeting MLM people or Network Marketing people from Network 21 group (they promote Amway's line of products).

Things just got better...

The Anaesthetist upline (or sponsor) is a couple, and both of them are specialist themselves. The wife is a Peads-Onco specialist. And the husband is an O&G specialist. Wow! I'm amazed at the kind of people making up this whole group.

Simply amazing...

After some small talks, changing opinions, etc, I excused myself because I got another appointment (actually it's my dinner time so my appointment was with the 'nasi lemak' seller). I was given a few tapes to listen to. And they will collect them back in 3 days time (typical MLM pitch).

But I listened to the tapes...

And most of them had this Jim Dornan guy talks about how he begins, how he faced obstacles, and finally how he triumph. But one thing caught my attention when he mentioned the absolute 'must' read book to newcomers that will guide them to sell better.

That's the day I learned about...

'The Greatest Salesman in The World'. Catchy isn't it?

The following day, I went to the ONLY reliable bookstore I knew in Kota Bharu where I might find what I'm looking for and somehow I was disappointed.

They didn't keep book with that title.

So I waited for my trip to Kuantan, and I searched the book there. Good! I found it at Hamid Bros, one of Kuantan book wholesellers. I spent few hours reading it page by page (all in, there are 104 pages).

I agree with Jim. This book is a 'must read' for newcomers to sales or even the 'seasoned' one.

Why?

Because it contains the fundamental of selling...and Yes, it's not just 'look'.

Want to know what the fundamentals are? Grab the book (from the link above). And enjoy the 'story'.
